OLIVIA RAE
Cricket



Olivia was born in County Durham and
played for Durham County Women’s first team from the age of 11. Olivia stayed
in Durham for university where she was part of the MCC cricket centre of
excellence and became the vice captain of the women’s first team. 


In 2010, Olivia moved to Scotland to
study for a masters degree at Edinburgh University where she represented the
women’s first team and was awarded a Full Blue for services to cricket.

Olivia’s first international cap for
Scotland was earned in 2011 against Japan and she now proudly has 76 caps in
total.

Olivia is a regular in the line up for
Middlesex County Women's first team, debuting in 2019. 

Life away from the pitch as a player
has taken Olivia towards coaching, she is a Level 3 high performance
cricket coach which inspired her to found her own coaching
company, Rae Cricket Coaching, in 2019 which has even gone abroad, delivering
cricket in the cricket mad nation of India. As a coach and mentor,
Olivia’s key focus is on preparing players mentally.
