Mintridge Bronze Netball Programme with Eboni Usoro-Brown, Hotshots Netball Club

Mintridge Bronze Netball Programme with Eboni Usoro-Brown, Hotshots Netball Club

What better way to prepare for a new netball season than a visit from a Commonwealth gold medallist netballer. It was a fantastic Sunday Programme for Team Mintridge and Eboni Usoro-Brown as we took a trip to Hotshots Netball Club for a day of fun, netball and gold medal winning inspiration.

We began our morning at Hotshots Netball Club with the U11 age group who worked on their movement and ball skills and how to apply them in attack and defensive situations. As the day progressed, Eboni worked with all of the players in the club and challenged them to be the best they can be. It was so great for the players at the club to take some expert tips from Eboni, on attack and defensive skills for them to use in their netball season.

During the day, Eboni also gave an inspirational presentation to the club, all about her sporting journey and how she has managed this alongside a very successful career. As an England netballer, Eboni has achieved so many great things within the sport and has shown extreme resilience and determination on her journey to becoming a Commonwealth gold medallist. This was a great lesson for the players to learn all about how Eboni has bounced back from the failure’s and trials that didn’t go as expected and has then gone on to succeed with the help of her coaches and support network.

Like all of our Mintridge Programmes, the players got to take some photos with Eboni and receive a signed autograph card to take away with them.

Thank you to Hotshots Netball Club for inviting Team Mintridge to be a part of this special day.

If you would like to see the photos and video from our day at Hotshots Netball Club, please contact the coaches at the club.

We look forward to working with you again in the future.

Thanks

Team Mintridge
