Born and raised in Hertfordshire, Liz was an avid swimmer before making the transition to rugby at 18. Her first season saw her representing both Hertfordshire and the South East of England, which was an incredible achievement. After moving to Birmingham for university, Liz became part of the rugby team that earned promotion to the BUCS Super League, a pivotal moment in her career.
Liz later joined Worcester Warriors, where she played for six years. During this time, she reached the milestone of her 50th cap and was honoured to receive the Player’s Player award in the 2019/2020 season.
Liz’s journey continued with Gloucester-Hartpury before she made the move to Sale Sharks in Manchester, where she currently plays.
Looking ahead, one Liz’s key goals is to represent the Netherlands in the upcoming Rugby Europe Championship.
Beyond rugby, Liz is a fully qualified Science Teacher and works with students who have faced challenges in passing their GCSEs, specifically teaching Maths. Liz is also pursuing a Masters in Coaching and Mentoring.
