Together, and to launch their new charity partnership Dunbridge Financial and the Mintridge Foundation are searching for young rugby players aged between the ages of 7 and 18 to receive a visit to their school or club, followed by 6 months of remote mentoring from Northampton Saints & England Rugby’s George Furbank. With two organisations that share a very common goal of nurturing people to develop their mental fitness superpowers, we couldn’t think of a better or more positive way to give people the confidence to move and in turn, the confidence to shine; overcoming life’s challenges along the way.

We would love to hear from you; the parents, carers, coaches, teachers and teammates. We want to hear all about the young people that have showcased integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline and respect?
We will share and highlight the best stories on our online platforms and the best part of all is that one lucky team will receive a visit from George Furbank (Saint #1986). That’s not all…two lucky and very worthy winners within that school / club will receive six months of remote mentoring in a safeguarded environment with him too. Learning from George, who as a player has made 76 appearances for his club, largely at Full Back and has received 6 caps for his country. George has recently returned from England’s tour to Australia where the squad took a 2-1 series victory! This will undoubtedly leave a lasting legacy for the young players in their rugby journey and beyond.

To recap, included in this sensational prize will include:
· George Furbank will deliver inspirational presentations, coaching sessions and classroom visits across a full day in a school / club to support the group’s physical and mental fitness.
· A Mintridge representative will be present throughout to organise the administrative, logistical and safeguarding elements.
· Mintridge photography during and photo album provided after the event as a memento for the school / club. Publishing photos on the Mintridge website and social media channels will follow the specific school /club policy.
· Staff welcome pack, Ambassador autograph cards and prizes throughout.
· Two students will have the opportunity to be mentored remotely by George Furbank for a period of six months following the bronze programme to support their mental and physical fitness.
· Mentee goody bag including Mintridge gifts and their own activity book filled with helpful resources.
· Direct communication access between George Furbank and mentee (Mintridge safeguarding policy applies) for six months (one call per fortnight).
· Information and literature for all members of club / school regarding Dunbridge Financial.
*The date will be chosen to match the school / club availability alongside George’s availability during the academic year of 2022 - 2023.

The Mintridge Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to enhancing life skills in young people through sport. We provide a support network for young people by harnessing the power of positive sporting role models. The Mintridge Foundation assists young people of all ages, abilities and physical capabilities to develop confidence and resilience, and creates awareness of the importance of mental and physical wellbeing through sport.
Our team of Ambassadors - Olympians, Paralympians and other professional sports stars from over 20 sports, both team and individual - work with young people in schools, clubs and academies across the UK. Starting with visits including assemblies, coaching clinics and classroom sessions tailored to each organisation’s requirements, our ambassadors can then provide one- on- one remote mentoring in a safeguarded environment, delivered via technology such as Fitswarm and Playwaze to build a lasting legacy for individuals.
The Mintridge Foundation’s successes demonstrate the incredible power of sport; from a mentee’s selection to represent Great Britain in their chosen field to enabling disabled children to find confidence and happiness just through participation. Understanding life after sport, we also support our Ambassadors in their transition from active sport to the next stage of their careers.
