GSA Girls Go Gold with Team Mintridge at Sherborne Girls'
Where do we even begin?
Team Mintridge was out in force on 19th September with the Girls’ School Association for their annual Girls Go Gold Event.
There was positivity and there was excitement – both elements that Team Mintridge has in bucket loads.
Thank you to Sherborne Girls’ for hosting and welcoming us with open arms – we are still buzzing as 11 of the Mintridge family helped over 500 girls to RAISE THE BAR throughout the day of panels, masterclasses and talks! There are too many incredible memories but here is a snippet…
From our Patron, Clare Balding CBE sharing how “sport was my saviour” during her keynote speech through to Eboni Usoro – Brown & Georgia Darlow taking to the netball courts in the sunshine – it was an action packed day!
There were medals galore with Grace Balsdon OLY, Heather Fell OLY & Laura Sugar MBE and there was no stopping Jemima Crathorne leading a kitefoiling masterclass…even without any water in sight!
Sammie Harris, Georgie Lack & the Rugby World Cup team built excitement towards the World Cup 2025 while Jade Windley found a beautiful spot for some tennis!
Alex Wallace and Liz Cann spoke about the importance of thinking “beyond the final whistle” with Sue Anstiss MBE and we loved seeing friends like PEBE share their important messages too!
Phew!
Can we do it all again, please? So many schools came together as our Ambassadors helped so many build and maintain a positive relationship with sport!
…But first, we sleep!
