OPPORTUNITY FOR BAME BALLERS FROM EX ENGLAND NETBALL CAPTAIN, PAMELA COOKEY

“I'm aware many BAME ballers do not get the opportunity so I’d like to donate my time to 2 ladies in the next cycle.”

These words were shared by ex England Netball Captain, Pamela Cookey as her Mintridge mentoring programme with Manor School drew to a close earlier this week which was supported by Bowbridge Homes.

Pamela doesn’t want her mentoring to end there and that is why this week she is on the hunt to support and give back to the next generation yet again.

Capped 114 times for the England Roses, Pamela knows that she wouldn’t have got to the height
of her career without those paving the way before and that is what she is determined to just that for those coming through.

Pamela is offering a brilliant three month Mintridge mentoring programme for two BAME BALLERS undertaken via Fitswarm and Playwaze (with full safeguarding procedures in place). The players will have live, one to one sessions with the England legend every fortnight and there is no cost to participate.

How do we put a player forward?

It is simple:

Send your nomination(s) to alex@mintridge.org.uk with:

a)      Name(s) of your Baller(s)

b)      Club / School Name

c)       A short paragraph on your players and the impact that this mentoring will have.

NOMINATE BY 19TH JUNE & TWO MENTEES
WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON 22ND JUNE.

What are you waiting for? Get on that email.
