An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Board of the Mintridge Foundation as we continue our growth and development. We are seeking to appoint three Trustees with a passion for sports and a commitment to shaping brighter futures for young people. The Board is responsible for setting and implementing the overall direction and strategy of the Foundation and has responsibility for the oversight of financial, risk management, governance, equality, diversity and inclusion.
We are looking for new Trustees with understanding, experience and skills in one or more of the following areas:
· Policy/Public affairs
o The political landscape
o Engagement and influencing
o Policy development and positioning
· Legal
o Audit and risk
o Regulation
· Sport governing bodies
o Partnerships
o Inclusion
o Structures, strategies
· Finance/growth
o Financial stability and sustainability
o Fundraising and income diversity
These are voluntary roles with reasonable expenses paid, related to the work of the Mintridge Foundation.

The Mintridge Foundation is a UK-wide charity dedicated to turbo-boosting young people's development and opportunities through the transformative power of sports. Our innovative programmes and collaborations inspire, mentor, and guide the next generation to thrive.
Role Highlights:
· Support the Trust Board in shaping the strategic direction of the Foundation.
· Collaborate closely with our CEO to drive impactful initiatives.
· Champion our vision, mission, and values for sustainable growth.
· Attend and lead quarterly Board meetings and represent us at community and high-profile events.
Term of Office:
A rewarding three-year term with the option for re-election.
Requirements:
· Contributing fully to the Mintridge Foundation Board
· Provide non-executive leadership and support
· Attendance at all Board meetings per year (usually 4)
· Supporting the Chair and Board in promoting good governance, leadership and equality, diversity and inclusion.
· Acting as a member /chair of working groups or sub committees as appropriate.
· Demonstrate alignment with the values of the Mintridge Foundation
o Selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty, and leadership
