A special Mintridge programme drew to a close last week and we
wanted to share a little more about it with our community; it certainly brought
weekly smiles during a tough few months.
We are really excited as we have recently partnered with EasyFundraising to help
support mentees (past and present) to help generate funds towards their
sporting journeys which we know is very tough. Whether you are a mentee and you
need to fund your training equipment, travel expenses or a coaching
qualification or a parent of a young person, your options to get funds can be
complicated.

These two ladies are such vocal and passionate ambassadors, helping us to spread the Mintridge message! Eboni made her England Netball debut in 2008 at the age of 20 against Malawi and has gone on to win a gold medal for England with the England Netball team. Olivia gained her first international cap for Scotland in 2011 against Japan and has an incredible 76 caps to her name. Both are incredibly inspiring Mintridge ambassadors!

Read MoreAt the end of last week, we launched our #771 challenge. 7 friends, 7 days, one marathon. As you will be aware, many funding events have been cancelled and so many of our community fundraisers have been unable to complete their 5ks half marathons and marathons to raise money to allow us to continue supporting young people through sport. 771 was an opportunity for them to put their training to use and for you to get involved and raise some money too.
We couldn’t have ever imagined what a positive event it would become, all thanks to you guys.
Read MoreA little (ok, pretty big) Mintridge #winoftheweek is thanks to two of our amazing community fundraisers. They weren’t going to let a little thing like a worldwide pandemic get in the way of all their training and they certainly didn’t want to let everyone who sponsored them down.
